Global Emergency Management (GEM) is a provider of innovative and easy to use solutions for today's rapidly changing world. Our focus is to provide leaders at all levels and locations with the tools they need to effectively plan for, respond to and recover from any emergency event on any scale.

GEM is an emergency and incident management solution that addresses the need for a comprehensive system, to assist multiple groups of 1st responders whether employees of a private entity (effected) or from government agencies, to be able to effectively and efficiently cooperate and collaborate to respond to and recover from incidents whether due to external or internal shocks.

Pre-Incident (Planning and Preparedness)
This involves prevention as well as being prepared to efficiently and effectively deal with an incident. It includes profiling, mapping, planning & training.

  1. Profiling: All that needs to be protected: people, assets, sites, supplies.
    All that need to protect: agencies, 1st responders, emergency management experts
  2. Mapping: All required locations: public & private and optimized routes
  3. Planning: Plans to prepare and prevent, respond, recover & mitigate
  4. Training & Learning: Knowledge is matched & pushed to 1st responders with tested levels
  5. Identify Chain of Command: From private entities to multiple federal, local agencies

Incident (Response)
Activities that address short term, direct effects of an incident. These activities include immediate actions to preserve life, property, and the environment, and meet basic human needs.

  1. Receive alert & act: Incident reports are investigated and/or activated
  2. Incidents are matched to: Multi 1st responders from the company and multi agencies
  3. Multiple procedures are assigned to: 1st responders to act on an Action Plan and report back the progress
  4. Deliver command: Alerts & commands with action items to all on hand held and other devices
  5. The Chain of Command is summoned to the EOC center for the Incident Management Operations

Post-Incident (Recovery)
The recovery phase involves actions needed to help individuals and communities return to normal when feasable. It is the development, coordination, and execution of services and site restoration plans and reconstitution of government operation and services.

  1. First Responder Group: Facility for1st responders to collaborate with peers and report to Command Facility for Chain of Command to receive progress report and monitor
  2. Recovery Group: Facility for search and rescue, and to assist disabled people. Facility for informing and updating the public.
  3. Clean up Group: Facilty for public and private entities to cooperate and collaborate to clean up toxicities.
  4. Other Collaborative Groups: Facility for N number of groups (on need basis) to collaborate and report on all tasks

Post-Incident Medical Emergency (Recovery)
The recovery phase involves actions needed to help individuals and communities return to normal when feasable. It is the development, coordination, and execution of services and site restoration plans and reconstitution of government operation and services.

  1. Emergency Medical Group: Facility for EMU to use telecom devices to attend to the injured. Facilty for alerting emergency rooms, hospitals, doctors, to transfer patients
  2. Publish incident specific 800 numbers on your website
  3. Chain of Command may monitor all progress of all tasks as assigned and reported by the responsible 1st responders
  4. Publish lists of injured and the hospitals they are admitted to
  5. Functionality for citizens to report lost relatives online or through toll free lines
  6. Publish actions being taken online for keeping the public at large informed
  7. GlobeCom21 Collaborative Suite is used to collaborate and monitor on all post incident issues: Medical Emergency Management, transport management, toxic and destruction clean up, emergency supplies management etc...
